Thought

 మీరు సృష్టించడం లేదు. మెదడు ఒక కంప్యూటర్ మాత్రమే. ట్రయల్ అండ్ ఎర్రర్ ద్వారా మీరు ఏదైనా సృష్టిస్తారు. కానీ అక్కడ ఆలోచనలు లేవు. అక్కడ ఆలోచించేవాడు లేడు. ఆలోచనలు ఎక్కడ ఉన్నాయి?

మీరు ఎప్పుడైనా తెలుసుకోవడానికి ప్రయత్నించారా? ఉన్నది ఆలోచన మాత్రమే కానీ ఆలోచన కాదు. ఒక ఆలోచన నుంచి మిమ్మల్ని మీరు వేరు చేసి చూడలేరు. మీకు ఉన్నది ఆ ఆలోచన గురించి ఒక ఆలోచన మాత్రమే. కానీ మీరు ఆలోచనను చూడలేరు. మీరు ఆ ఆలోచనలను నిర్దిష్ట ఫలితాలను సాధించడానికి, కొన్ని విషయాలను సాధించడానికి, ఏదో ఒకటి కావడానికి వాస్తవానికి మీరు మీరులా కాకుండా మరొకరిలా ఉండటానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నారు.

"You are not creating. The brain is only a computer. Through trial and error you create something. But there are no thoughts there. There is no thinker there. Where are the thoughts?

Have you ever tried to find out? What there is is only about thought but not thought. You cannot separate yourself from a thought and look at it. What you have there is only a thought about that thought, but you do not see the thought itself. You are using those thoughts to achieve certain results, to attain certain things, to become something, to be somebody other than what you actually are.

The body cannot take any sensation, be it pleasurable or painful, for long. [If it does,] it will destroy the sensitivity of the sensory perceptions, and the sensitivity of the nervous system. The moment you recognize particular sensation as a  pleasurable sensation, naturally there is a demand to make that pleasurable sensation last longer.

Thought destroys sensitivity. The function of the brain in this body is only to take care of the needs of the physical organism and to maintain its sensitivity, where thought, through its constant interference with sensory activity, is destroying the sensitivity of the body.” We might be able to observe this in our daily life.

 సంతోషం, దుఃఖం … దేనినైనా  శరీరం ఎక్కువ కాలం ఎలాంటి అనుభూతిని పొందదు, [అలా చేస్తే,] ఇది ఇంద్రియ అవగాహన, సున్నితత్వాన్ని, నాడీ వ్యవస్థ, సున్నితత్వాన్ని నాశనం చేస్తుంది. మీరు నిర్దిష్ట అనుభూతిని ఆహ్లాదకరమైన అనుభూతిగా గుర్తించిన క్షణం, సహజంగానే ఆ ఆహ్లాదకరమైన అనుభూతిని ఎక్కువ కాలం కొనసాగించాలనే డిమాండ్ ఉంటుంది.

ఆలోచన సున్నితత్వాన్ని నాశనం చేస్తుంది. ఈ శరీరంలోని మెదడు పని  జీవి భౌతిక అవసరాలను తీర్చడం,  దాని సున్నితత్వాన్ని కొనసాగించడం మాత్రమే, ఇక్కడ ఆలోచన, ఇంద్రియ కార్యకలాపాలతో నిరంతరం జోక్యం చేసుకోవడం ద్వారా, శరీరం సున్నితత్వాన్ని నాశనం చేస్తుంది. మన దైనందిన జీవితంలో మనం దీనిని గమనించవచ్చు.

మీరు మీరే కావాలంటే

 మనిషికి కావలసింది తన వ్యక్తిగత గతం నుంచి మాత్రమే కాకుండా, మానవజాతికి సంబంధించిన మొత్తం గతం నుంచి తనను తాను విముక్తి కావడం. అంటే, ప్రతి మనిషి ముందు మీరు ఆలోచించిన, అనుభవించిన దాని నుంచి మీకుగా మీరు బయిటపడాలి. అప్పుడే మీరు మీరే కావడం సాధ్యమవుతుంది. నేను ప్రజలతో మాట్లాడడానికి సంబంధించి మొత్తం ఉద్దేశ్యం ప్రతి వ్యక్తి  ప్రత్యేకతను ఎత్తి చూపడం. సంస్కృతి లేదా నాగరికత లేదా మీరు ఏది పిలిచినా అది ఎల్లప్పుడూ మిమ్మల్ని ఒక చట్రంలో అమర్చడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తుంది. మనిషి అస్సలు మనిషి కాదు.. అతనిని 'ప్రత్యేకమైన జంతువు' అని పిలుస్తాను ... సంస్కృతి భారం ఉన్నంత కాలం మనిషి ప్రత్యేకమైన జంతువుగా ఉంటాడు."

 Human relations

      It is just not possible to establish any relationship with anything around you including your near and dear ones except on the level of what you can get out of the relationship. You see, the whole thing springs from this separation or isolation that human beings live in today. We are isolated from the rest of creation. the rest of life around us. We all live in individual frames. We try to establish a relationship at the level of, `What do I get out of that relationship?` We use others to try and fill this viod that is created as a result of our isolation.

We always want to fill this emptiness, this void, with all kinds of relationships with people around us. That is really the problem. We have to use enverything---an idea, a person, anything we can get hold of --to establish relationships with others. Without relationships we are lost and we don`t see any meaning, we don`t see any purpose. This is because your only interest is to create a purposeful and meaningful relationship with the individuals and world around you. Therefore, you want to understand the reality of the world but there is nothing to understand. There is no such thing as reality at all. Anything you do to understand the reality of the world is not going to be useful , helpful or meaningful.

             WE are not honest, decorous and decent enough to admit that all relationships are built on the fuoundation of, " What do I get out of this relationship?" It is nothing but mutual gratification. If that is absent no relationship is possible. You keep the relationship going for social reasons or for reasons of children, property and security. All this is part and parcel of the relationship business but when it fails and does not give us what we really want we superimpose on it what we call love. So it is just not possible to have any relationship on any basis except on the level of mutual gratification.

         What an an amount of energy we are putting into making our relationship into a loving thing! It is a battle , a war. It is like preparing yourself all the time for war hoping that there will be peace, eternal peace, or this or that. you are tired of this battle and you even settle for that horrible, non-loving relationship. And you hope and dream one day it will be nothing but love, "Love thy neighbor as thyself". In the name of that how many millions of people have been killed ? More than all the recent wars put together. How can you ove thy neighbor as thyself? It is just not possible. Obviously, otherwise why are so many people , women , children and helpless people killed.

 వినడంలో ప్రేరణ, జ్ఞాపకశక్తి, గుర్తింపు, అనువాదం, ఆలోచన మొదలైనవి ఉంటాయి. శక్తి హరించుకుపోతుంది!

సమాధానాలే సమస్యలు

 "యుజీ సమస్యలకు పరిష్కారం చూపడంలో ఆసక్తి చూపడు. పరిష్కారమే సమస్య అని ఎత్తిచూపడమే చేస్తారు.  మనకు ఇప్పటికే ఉన్న సమాధానాల నుంచి 'ప్రశ్నలు' పుట్టాయి. 

 మన సంప్రదాయం నుంచి మనం గ్రహించిన సమాధానాలే ప్రశ్నలకు మూలం.  ఆ సమాధానాలు నిజమైన సమాధానాలు కావు. 

సమాధానాలు నిజమైనవి అయితే, ప్రశ్నలు సవరించని, లేదా సవరించిన రూపంలో ఉండవు. కానీ ప్రశ్నలు మాత్రం అలాగే ఉన్నాయి. మన సంప్రదాయంలో అన్ని సమాధానాలు ఉన్నప్పటికీ, మనం ఇప్పటికీ భగవంతుడు, జీవిత పరమార్దం  మొదలైన వాటి గురించి ప్రశ్నలు అడుగుతు న్నాం. అందువల్లే యు.జి. చెబుతోంది సమాధానాలే సమస్య అని.

   He is not interested in offering solutions to problems. His concern is to point out that the solution is the problem! As he often observes, "The questions are born out of the answers that we already have." The source of the 

questions is the answers we have picked up from our tradition. And those answers are not genuine answers. 

the answers were genuine, the questions would not persist in an unmodified or modified form. But the questions persist. Despite all the answers in our tradition we are still asking questions about God, the meaning of life, and so on. Therefore, U.G. maintains, the answers are the problem.

నేను క్రీస్తు పూర్వం ఆరవ శతాబ్దపు బుద్దుడిని గురించి ఊదరగొట్టడం లేదు. మన మధ్య ఉన్న ఇతర హక్కుదారులందరినీ పక్కన పెట్టండి. వారు దోపిడీదారుల సమూహం, ప్రజల విశ్వాసంతో అభివృద్ధి చెందుతున్నారు. మనిషికి వెలుపల ఏ శక్తీ లేదు. మనిషి భయంతో దేవుడిని సృష్టించాడు. కాబట్టి సమస్య భయం. దేవుడు కాదు”
